Average Weekly Income Victoria Point Queensland

Average Weekly Income Victoria Point Queensland

September 2013

This chart shows the breakdown of average weekly incomes by age groups.  The ages 35 to 54 are at the top end of earners, while 15 to 19 year olds are less than 25% of the higher group.  As most wage statistics quote the age range from 15 upwards, this can show the overall average as being under the real adult average.

In 2011, the median individual income in Victoria Point was quoted as $541 per week. This presumably included the 15 to 24 age groups who generally earned under the average anyway. However, for those aged between 35 and 54, the figure seems to be somewhere between $720 and $800 per week, based on the median average income being about 80% of the mean average income.
