If you are new to the area and would like to ask a local about something, try asking here. Someone may be able and willing to answer.
To start a new thread, look for this bar, in the forum section that you wish to post in, and click on "New Topic", shown here circled in red.
Then give the post a title, and then type up your comment, then press the POST button.
The thread title that you choose is important, as that it what gets the readers interest.
A title saying "Help wanted" is not as interesting as "Does anyone know where I can buy a [insert item] ?
or
I have a [insert item] to give away free.
