Life Threatening Wounding Incident, Birkdale.
Police are investigating after a man sustained life threatening injuries at Birkdale this afternoon.
Officers were called to the Napier Street address around midday following reports that a man had been stabbed during an altercation with another man.
A 34-year-old man was located at the address with stab wounds to his face, hand and torso and has been taken to hospital.
Police are currently speaking with a number of people.
Investigations are continuing.
