Armed robbery, Manly

Police are investigating after a man robbed a Manly service station last night.

Preliminary information suggests shortly after 10pm a man entered the Gordon Parade business and threatened a staff member with a knife demanding cash.

The staff member complied and the man was last seen walking southbound on Manly Road.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cms tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing dark pants and a brown coat.

Investigations are continuing.
