Armed robbery, Manly

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Manly this morning.

Around 7.30am, two men have entered a super market on Cambridge Parade armed with an axe and a sledge hammer.

One of the men has grabbed an employee and demanded cash, and they have then stolen the cash draw and then fled the scene.

They were last seen in a white Holden Commodore traveling along Stratton Terrace.

The female store attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the incident.

The two men were both last seen wearing grey pants, black hooded jumpers and had dark shirts over their faces.

Investigations are continuing.
