A man dressed in black, wearing a balaclava and carrying a knife robbed a Victoria Point petrol station last night.
The man entered the Cleveland-Redland Bay Road business around 9.15pm and threatened a 21-year-old female employee with the knife, demanding money.

A man dressed in black, wearing a balaclava and carrying a knife robbed a Victoria Point petrol station last night.

The man entered the Cleveland-Redland Bay Road business around 9.15pm and threatened a 21-year-old female employee with the knife, demanding money.

The man fled on foot with a sum of cash and was last seen running into nearby bushland.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cms tall with a slim build.

The woman was not physically injured and police investigations are continuing.

Police have charged a man following the investigation into an armed robbery on September 17 in Victoria Point.

Yesterday, after information was supplied to Crime Stoppers, police located an 18-year-old Redland Bay man who has been charged with one count of armed robbery.

He is expected to appear at the Cleveland Magistrates Court this morning, September 23.
