Robbery with violence, Cleveland

Detectives have released images of two people who may be able to assist with the investigation into a robbery at Cleveland on Monday June 3.

At 7am a 58-year-old woman was walking on Bloomfield Street between Queen and Russell Streets when a woman grabbed hold of her handbag. The victim held onto her hand bag and was pulled to the ground and dragged along. She still refused to let go of her hand bag and the offender has bitten the woman on her hand forcing her to let go of her handbag.

The offender has got into the passenger seat of a silver vehicle which then drove south on Bloomfield Street.

The woman is described as olive complexion, medium build, dark brown hair and wearing a grey tracksuit.

The vehicle is a stolen Hyundai IX35 which was stolen from East Brisbane on July 1 and remains outstanding.

Anyone who recognises the woman or has further information is urged to contact police.
